Ceci est une des rares oeuvres photographiques par Frédéric Hage. Elle utilise la technique du sténopé qui consiste à mettre le support photographique dans une boite percée d'un simple trou.
Outre l'intérêt artistique de ce bel objet, il fait partie de ces expériences sur le fonctionement et le principe de la vision humaine.
